What political issues are most important to you?
I spend most of my time obsessing over media literacy and the empowerment of women (as separate and related issues). I have worked in corporate Human Resources, social media startups, and am now part of the renegade team of Skewz.com, looking to evolve the way people receive their news. I live in San Francisco, and continually marvel at the power of the internet to revolutionize human relationships, as evident in the States and my country of origin, India.

Sigh - I jest. I wouldn't like that at all, but what we were subjected… Continue

Skewz.com - Revealing political bias in online news

As a news reader who is perhaps more skeptical than the average person on the street, I have been frustrated no end by the complete failure of the American media to report the "news". En lieu we get propaganda, designed to do nothing more than mislead through the promotion of suspicion and xenophobia. It became so hard to trust the news anymore that I would revert to non-American sources such as the International Herald Tribune or the Economist to get some coverage, while figuring out how to sol… Continue
