Season of Light

It was is the best of times, it was is the worst of times, it was is the age of wisdom, it was is the age of foolishness, it was is the epoch of belief, it was is the epoch of incredulity, it was is the season of Light, it was is the season of Darkness, it was is the spring of hope, it was is the winter of despair, we had have everything before us, we had have nothing before us, we were are all going diContinue

Something to Think About With Your Morning Latte

I read a couple of blog posts this morning reflecting on the Obama thirty minute piece last night. These posts were from the conservative point of view. I do not understand how there can be such divergent takes on the same film. I saw a brilliant film showcasing a man who is in touch with the people of this country. Did you know that we live in North America which also includes Canada and Mexico. Check your atlas, there is a Central America and a South America. In fact, most of the rest of the world refers to these three regions as The Americas.

Now, with that clarified I would like to point out that I am one of those veterans who never supported the w… Continue

One More Time -- Some Basic Realities -- Why Must We Repeat This?

Some things just need to be said again and again and again!

1. I do NOT care which religion (if any) that my president practices. I measure the person by his actions and attitudes not his personal spiritual path.
2. I want a president who is smarter than me and who is smarter than most of the people I know.
3. I want a president who is willing to choose a running mate who has criticized him.
4. I want a president who eschewed financial gain and prestige to create change for people he faced ever… Continue
