It is all about protection

Last week’s Supreme Court discussion about the strip-searching in schools throughout the country disturbed me somehow.

Believing that it's ok to strip-search our kids in order to keep them safe from drugs or fire arms it is not ok.

In a judicial system where a suspect of a crime being investigated by the police department can only have his or her car and/or house searched with a court order, how can we allow school officials to strip-search boys and girls like that?

Marriage campaings

As we approach the final days of elections the fight over the same sex marriage campaigns disturb me. It does not matter if one is in favor or against gay marriage it is just an absurd the amounts of money people behind these campaigns are expending on it. Where are our heroes?

We all knew people like mother Teresa of Calcutta, Mandela, John Kennedy, Gandhi, Martin Luther King and so many others who dedicated their entire lives standing up for what they believed in and to make this place a better world.

We live in a global village

It is understandable that the American foreign policies are focused on the Middle East. After all, thousands of American soldiers and millions of Iraqis have died in the Iraq war. But I am curious to know what do the two candidates for the White House think about Latin American countries.
