What's New in the Political Voices of Women Community
Hi Everyone,
On her behalf of Founder Catherine Morgan, I want to thank you for your continued support and participation in The Political Voices of Women Community.
I am happy to announce that in spite of a pre-election day Denial-of-service (DOS) attack on the main site, The Political Voices of Women Blog is now functional again. Over the past few weeks, I've tested the site and have found it readily accessible and safe for posting. In the weeks ahead the site may be down intermittently for routine upgrades but once again we'll be able to cross post many of your community posts to the main blog.
We are also pleased to announce that we are spreading our wings.
Facebook fans will be pleased to know that there is now a Political Voices of Women group on Facebook.
If you're addicted to Twitter you find us there too. Our hashtag is #pvow.
And finally, as you know, anytime a member of this community creates a blog post on their personal page, that post is automatically featured on the Community's front page and appears in the Political Voices of Women Community widget. However due to the recent increase of spam posts, the Community blog widget has been removed from the main blog, for now.
Well that's it for now.
Thank you again for making this an outstanding community where women from all points on the political spectrum can make their voices heard.
